Dr. Carle attended Swarthmore College and Tufts Veterinary School. She is a board-certified veterinary dentist. She will treat dogs and cats in her new clinic. (Dr. Carle sometimes treats wild animals as a volunteer at zoos and wildlife refuges). She enjoys veterinary dentistry because she can resolve pain and infection with one procedure. She loves sending home a pain-free and infection-free pet.
What We Treat
Broken Teeth
Dr. Carle performs tooth-saving procedures including root canal treatment and vital pulp therapy. She also offers extraction of broken teeth.
Gum Disease
Dr. Carle offers advanced periodontal disease therapy to save teeth if possible. She also can extract affected teeth. We also offer routine dental cleanings.
Malocclusions
Dr. Carle performs orthodontic procedures to correct abnormal bites that are causing damage to the tissues of the mouth. (We don’t perform cosmetic orthodontia.)
Oral Conditions
Dr. Carle treats multiple medical conditions such as stomatitis in both cats and dogs as well as tooth resorption.
Oral Masses
Biopsy and excision of benign and malignant oral masses.
Trauma
Dr. Carle treats jaw fractures using multiple techniques.
